Race Category


Choose between Novice, Intermediate, Elite, Senior, Masters. This will determine the starting point for all rigging adjustments.

Height (Without Shoes)


Measurement taken without shoes. Height relates to athelete stroke length.

Seat To Shoulder Height




Sitting with normal boat posture measured from seat to top of shoulder height. This will adjust the oarlock height.

Sleeve Length




Standing with arm straight out, measured from center of back to second knuckle. This will help determine stroke length, span and outboard dimensions.

Shin Length (Left Leg)




Sitting on a low step 8-10 inches high. Measurement is from the floor to the top of the knee. Both shins must be measured as they are not always the same. This provides a minor adjustment to the footstop height.

Shin Length (Right Leg)




Sitting on a low step 8-10 inches high. Measurement is from the floor to the top of the knee. Both shins must be measured as they are not always the same. This provides a minor adjustment to the footstop height.

Inseam Length




Standing with feet together as in the boat. Measured from the floor to the crotch. This will determine footstop and rigger placement.

Ankle Flexibility




Standing, leaning forward as far as possible with one leg back straight, heel kept on the floor. This is measured from the perpendicular to the straight leg and can be measured with an angle finder or smartphone app. This will adjust the footstop angle.

Stroke Length




This is the distance of the handle movement between the catch and finish positions. This will adjust the spand and outboard.

Seat Travel




The measured distance the seat moves from catch to finish. This relates to your work through.

Oar handle to front seat at finish position




The horizontal distance between the front of the seat and the oarhandle when the athlete is in the finish position. This will provide your stroke placement in relation to the finished seat distance.

Oar Handle Finish Split Distance




The distance between the oarhandles when the athelete is in the finish position. This will reference your inboard to the stroke place at the finished seat distance.

Race Power


Enter your 2k erg time at race rate/pace. Masters enter your 1k erg time at race rate/pace. This will help determine the rigging load.

Target Stroke Rate


Enter your target stroke rate. This will help determine and adjust the rigging load.

Oar Manufacturer


Knowing the type and size of the oars allows us to set the rigging related to customer’s oars.

Blade Type


The blade area is related to rigging load which will allow for improved custom rigging accuracy.
